On Aug. 18, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Cut Knife RCMP received a report of a shooting on Little Pine First Nation.
Officers immediately responded. Their investigation determined an adult male approached another male outside of a residence and discharged a firearm, striking him. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.
The male fled in a vehicle and struck another vehicle while doing so.
As a result of continued investigation, 33-year-old Bradley Kahmahkotayo from Little Pine First Nation is charged with aggravated assault, uttering threats, discharge firearm with intent, careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, assault with weapon, dangerous driving, and fail to comply with undertaking.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest and Cut Knife RCMP is working to locate him. Investigators ask members of the public to report all his sightings and information on his whereabouts.
Bradley Kahmahkotayo is described as 5’11” and 240 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. His neck is tattooed and he has a small tattoo under one of his eyes.
He may be in the Little Pine or Lloydminster areas, but this can’t be confirmed.
