St. Anthony Newfoundland RCMP arrested 49-year-old Glen Hillier of St. Anthony on Feb. 12 as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Hillier was arrested by police at a traffic stop that was conducted on Route 430, south of St. Anthony, on Monday evening.
St. Anthony RCMP obtained and executed a search warrant for Hillier’s residence and seized more than 24 grams of cocaine, a quantity of ecstasy (MDMA), cash and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
Hillier appeared in Corner Brook court via teleconference on Feb. 13, on charges of trafficking cocaine possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of ecstasy (MDMA) for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime.
Hillier was released from court on a number of conditions.
The investigation is continuing.
