A 48-year-old was arrested and charged with firearms offences after an explosion in a motel room at the Glenwood Inn in Trail, B. C.
On Feb. 10 at 10:30 p.m., RCMP and emergency crews responded to a report of the explosion inside a motel room. The explosion started a fire in an adjacent room which had to be evacuated.
A search of the room where the explosion occurred uncovered firearms and ammunition.
Police are looking for one other suspect in relation to the explosion who is described as a Caucasian male in his 30’s, dark hair, brown eyes, likely has symptoms of burn injuries.
Do not approach any suspected person.
The cause of the explosion remains under investigation. No one at the scene was found injured.
