RCMP are investigating five suspicious deaths in southern Manitoba.
The deaths were at three different locations including Highway 3 between Carman and Winkler, Highway 248 north of provincial road 424, and at a home in Carman.
Three children and two adults were found dead Sunday morning in three incidents that RCMP say are linked. A 29-year-old man has been arrested.
Highway 248, from the junction with Road 65N to Main Street in St. Eustache, was closed in both directions as of 11 a.m.
One suspect is in police custody and there is no risk to public safety, say RCMP.
RCMP say they will provide more information at 4 p.m. Manitoba time.
