Nicholas Alexander Brashko, 44, is wanted in the September 2023 murder of Fred Kolybaba.
He is also charged with arson and indignity to a body.
Brashko is 5-foot-4 and has a heavy build. He may walk with a limp and is known to frequent pawn shops.
Brashko may be dangerous and should not be approached.

On Sept. 1, 2023, at approximately 12:45 a.m., police had responded to a call for assistance from Edmonton Fire Rescue Services after they located Fred Kolybaba, 69, deceased inside a home in the area of 132 Street and 133 Avenue.
An autopsy was conducted by the Edmonton Medical Examiner on Sept. 7, 2023, though the cause and manner of death were not released for investigative reasons. Kolybaba’s death has since been ruled a homicide and the cause of death continues to be withheld for investigative reasons.
