The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with a firearm investigation.
On Sept. 5, at approximately 11:30 a.m., police responded to a call for a Person with a Gun in the Danforth Avenue and Victoria Park Avenue area.
It is reported that:
- the victim and a man got into an argument after being involved in a minor collision
- the man threatened the victim and indicated he had a weapon
- a second man arrived on scene and showed the victim a handgun and the first man assaulted the victim
- the victim fled the area, and the two men followed the victim on their e-bikes
- the men were last seen driving eastbound on Danforth Avenue
- the victim suffered minor injuries
The first man is described as wearing a black face covering, a black Toronto Blue Jays hat, black hooded sweater, black backpack, blue jeans, blue and white Nike shoes. He was driving a black e-bike with duct tape on the rear of the seat.
The second man is described as a wearing a black face covering, gold chain, black sleeveless shirt with “The Town” logo on the front, a blue backpack, red Toronto Blue Jays hat with a blue brim and a tattoo of a flower on his right shoulder. He was driving a light blue e-bike.
