Tanner Rouleau, 32, of Cold Lake, is charged with possession of controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. Rouleau was brought before a justice of the peace and released on conditions. He is to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Cold Lake on Sept. 24, 2025.
With the assistance of the Alberta RCMP Community Response Team (CRT) and the Lakeland Crime Reduction Unit (CRU), a search warrant was executed within the City of Cold Lake on Sept. 4, 2025, resulting in the arrest of one individual. In late 2024, the Cold Lake General Investigations Section (GIS) began an investigation into drug trafficking in the City of Cold Lake.
As a result of the search, the following items were seized:
- 240 grams of suspected cocaine;
- Over $8000 in Canadian currency; and
- Drug-trafficking paraphernalia.
