On April 29, 2025, at approximately 2:00 pm, Manitoba RCMP Roving Traffic Unit conducted a traffic stop on Highway 16, in the RM of Minto-Odanah.
The male driver was the lone occupant in the vehicle and was stopped as a result of a violation of the Highway Traffic Act.
As a result of the investigation and search of the vehicle, a large amount of Canadian currency was located and the vehicle was seized.
The 24-year-old driver from Stony Plain, Alberta, was arrested and later released with a future court date.
Manitoba RCMP Traffic Unit continue to investigate.
