Brandon Kan of Calgary Police Service was charged on Feb. 7, 2024, with sexual assault.
He is back in court on March 17, 2025.
It’s alleged the offence happened while the officer was off duty.
The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) was asked to investigate the allegations on Oct. 13, 2020.
ASIRT said it found “reasonable grounds to believe an offence had occurred.”
