Airdrie RCMP continue to investigate the July 29 shooting in the Luxstone subdivision of Airdrie. The initial investigation has revealed that although this is believed to have been a targeted incident, the apartment complex struck is not believed to have been the intended target.
RCMP have obtained a better-quality image of the suspect and are asking for public assistance in identifying him.
The suspect is described as late teens to early twenties, riding a BMX bike and wearing blue pants, and a black backpack.
Additionally, RCMP are asking anyone in the Luxstone, Midtown and 8 Street areas of Airdrie to review their video footage on July 29, 2024, between the hours of 6:45 p.m. through 7:15 p.m. If anyone has footage of any males with a bike similar to the subject in the photo, or of a grey four door sedan, please contact Airdrie RCMP.
